RTD Services Changes for May

🚍 RTD Service Changes – We Need Your Input! 🚍

In January 2024, RTD made service changes to multiple bus routes, reducing routes during commuter hours. This has caused disruptions for many who rely on public transit to get to work downtown.

RTD is reassessing these changes and seeking public input for adjustments in May 2024. Now is the time to make your voice heard and ensure Sunnyside continues to receive reliable transit service. Please review the bus routes that run through Sunnyside and provide your feedback.

The routes that run through Sunnyside are: 19, 31, 44 and 52.

Please use the link below to see the changes, attend a meeting or contact a planner with your feedback.

Rezoning in Denver Just Got More Equitable

Exciting news! Denver City Council has approved updates to the rezoning process, making it more inclusive and accessible for everyone

What's new?

  • Clearer Review Criteria: Rezoning proposals must now be consistent with neighborhood plans and serve the public interest.

  • Enhanced Community Engagement: Renters will be directly notified, signs will be posted earlier, and online information will be easier to find.

  • Simplified Communication: Notices and materials will be easier to understand.
