SUBJECT: SUNI December 2024 Newsletter

Happy December, Sunnyside!

As the year winds down and the holiday season approaches, this month's newsletter is packed with updates and opportunities to engage with your Sunnyside community. We're focusing on connecting with city resources and staying informed about important initiatives.

This issue highlights ways to engage with your city government, whether it's reporting a sidewalk issue through Denver's Online Services Hub or weighing in on important planning initiatives like the Advancing Equity in Rezoning amendment. Plus, learn about the City of Denver 2025 budget and how it prioritizes key investments in rental assistance, youth programs, and street safety.

We also encourage you to give back to our community this holiday season. Aztlan Rec Center is hosting its Annual Toys for Kids Event on December 20th. Time is running out - order soon! Donate new, wrapped, or unwrapped toys to help make the event a success and bring joy to our neighborhood children who need our help

You can also explore resources for making this a brighter holiday season for all, and consider lending a helping hand as a Denver Snow Angel.

Stay warm, stay connected, and have a happy holiday season!
