We are still looking for a volunteer to help run our social media, so please reach out if you are interested.

SUNI Sustainability

The SUNI Sustainability Committee is partnering with Denver Community Active Living Coalition (CALC) and other nearby neighborhoods to host social bike rides this summer.
For more information, see their calendar here

We look forward to getting out on our bikes to enjoy the sun and our neighbors!

Bienvenidos Fundraiser at Regis University's RegiRama

RegiRama returns with twice the entertainment — and the chance to make sure no one in our community goes hungry. Regis will be joined on July 14 by Harkness Heights, Berkeley Regis, Sunnyside and Highlands United neighborhood associations to present a special family-friendly event featuring live music by local musicians, The Flat Out Five, and a barbecue dinner in support of Bienvenidos Food Bank. Help support the food bank’s mission by donating a suggested $10 per plate with Little Man Ice Cream for dessert. To finish the night of fun, join us for a screening of Sing.  In addition, we will be raffling out prizes for those who donate.

Special thanks to Denver Community Active Living Coalition.  Learn more about them here.

Bike, walk or roll to this event or use RTD which is free July and August. Bus lines 52 and 31 service Regis University.

Bucket List Community Cafe

Bucket List Community Café is an online community journalism site for Denver which was created by an award-winning TV news producer. They have a unique niche at the intersection of community and journalism. Everyone has a story, and they build community by sharing our stories. They are North Denver’s home for information, inspiration, and interaction. They share news, issues, culture, events, people, pets, food, fun and more so that you can know what is happening on your street and across town. They are hyperlocal and strive to represent the diverse voices within our community.

They have supported SUNI and other NW Denver neighborhoods by sharing our content on their platform. They do all this without a paywall, membership or subscription. However, brining this programming isn't without costs so they run an annual fundraiser to continue bringing you this content for free.  If you are able, please contribute to their Christmas in July fundraiser.
