The City’s budget crisis has been in the news a lot lately. The Denver Public Library is facing huge budget cuts for 2012 and the possibility of being forced to close up to 12 branch libraries. The August 10, 2010 Primary Election in Denver will be a mail ballot election. This decision was made following a public hearing and public comment period. The Primary Election ballot will contain federal and state primary races along with at least one local ballot initiative.

Voters do not need to request a mail ballot for this election. Ballots will be mailed automatically
